Begun The Beta Has!
Today
Beta has begun! If you have pre-ordered you should receive an email soon. We will be sending them out in the order that people pre-ordered the game (or contributed to Kickstarter). It will take some time, so please be patient!

A beta discussion area has been set up on the forums but there is NO NDA! Please feel free to post about beta on other forums or on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ (etc.) and to share screenshots and videos too.

We will be making an official announcement shortly and also starting a daily beta key giveaway as well.

Hi All,

If you are a Gold supporter, the build is now up on steam. Please make sure your steam.cfg file has been removed and you may need to delete clientblob. If you have not received your Steam key, please email customerservice at 2dawn.com

For all pre-orders, the first batch of Steam keys should start rolling out tomorrow based on order date.

Today we released the next updated build for Ravaged. In this build we have added many new features and fixed an extensive list of bugs.
- Tennis ball bomb hand grenade
- Updated mini map designs
- Vehicle driver camera selection remembered and restored per vehicle type


- Adjusted weapon equip/put-down times
- Fixed right-click glitching on non-zoom weapons
- Weapon animations: M249 Saw added to build
- Derelict (map) updates/fixes.
- Bunnyhop reduction: minimum time between jumps.
- Driver kill assists add to scoring system.
- Steam achievements ⅔ completed.
- F.U. taunt now networked.
- CTR mode scoring fixes
- Teamkill decay.
- Redist install fixes
- Ping overflow in scoreboard fixed
- Raised resource icon to fix obstructing player.
- Removed spawn light effect.
- 4x4 vehicle physics tweak.
- Spawn camper detection: after killing 3 enemies in their home base: turns on nametag until they die.
- Quad steering tweak (steer amount lowered at slow speeds and turn rate increased for all speeds)
- Revamped vehicle exit system: each seat has its own exit, if none work then uses "emergency exit" 10ft above vehicle (when stuck)
- taunt spam fix (only once per 6 secs)
- server browser sorting fix
- high ping kick bug fixed

Hi everyone - we've been hard at work on the closed beta but wanted to share our release date with you: 10/17/2012! Most of you have access to the beta, but for those that don't, our pre-order just went live on Steam here, which gives instant access to the closed beta. If you haven't jumped in the beta in a while, here's a list of some of the items we've added (see here for our patch updates):

- Spawn on Squad Leader
- Stryker (tank)
- Squad System
- FairFight Anti-Cheat
- Released a render for Mobile Truck Base
- Comm System (players press a key to shout commands)
- Greatly improved vehicle physics

Hello! Today we've released the Ravaged beta build update 0.9.4727! The build show cases some of the most anticipated features we have heard from the community. One of the most exciting updates we've made is the Squad User-Interface and updates to the spawn map to show where your squad/leaders positions are on the maps. You will also be able spawn on your squad leader inside or outside of a vehicle! Full Change Log List....



- Menu settings will now save properly.
- Ability to spawn on Squad Leader.
- Squad Leader icon added to spawn map (green circle with a star.)
- Ability to join squads and leave squads.
- Squad User-Interface.
- Vehicle physics tweaks - better masses for collisions.
- Most vehicles are heavier.
- Fixed wheel friction bug when going from gunner to driver.
- Fixed vote kick crash.
- Fixed MSAA problems.
- Minimaps fixed for some hardware configurations .
- Fixed Quad and Trike seat for Grunt.
- Fix for DX 11 on Bandit Character.
- Working on spectator mode camera smoothing.
- Spectator mode weapons now visible in 3rd Person.
- Enemies no longer show on spawn map.
- Made Stryker 1 shot 1 kill against land vehicles.
- Fix for Ultralight dust effect.
- Canyon Map: Fixes for getting stuck in certain areas.
- Multiple control point radius adjusted in various maps.
- Default Field of view (FOV) is now set to 80.
- Disabled Stryker's handbrake.
- A.D.S. recoil reduced. Hip fire recoil increased.

Some of our faithful followers were wondering how we plan on balancing the Stryker that was released in the last patch. The great minds in our art department have come up with something rugged, powerful, and extremely deadly.

A Scavenger based vehicle that was hacked together with a Panzer tank turret and a construction tractor. Heavily armored but slow moving, this machine will be vital to control key points on the map and keep the fight moving forward.

Some may have missed the release of Ravaged last week, but never fear, here we are 1 week on with the release of both patch 1.1 AND the promised Dedicated Server Files.

Patch 1.1 includes the follwing.

Added Liberty level to demo client (demo now has 2 levels: "CTR" Canyon and "Thrust" Liberty.)
Extended spawn camp protection in main bases.
• In your main base you get 15 seconds of invincible mode" even when firing, but deactivates when you leave the base.
• No protection when main base is final target for opposing team in thrust game mode.
Balanced vehicle weapon ranges.
Weapon balance tweaks for: harpoon, crossbow, rocket truck artillery.
Adjusted minimum votes for kicking.
"Quick Match" feature added for joining best server.
Moved "Spectate" button to avoid accidental presses.
Fixed highlighting of selected weapon in spawn menu.
Finalized Dedicated Server Build: going live today for everyone via Steam!
Added filter options in server browser (official servers / hide demo servers.)
Server Browser improvements.
Performance optimizations.


The Server Files are now live on Steam, and available thru HLDS and the Steam COMMAND tool as well.

Of course as Courgette posted, B3 Bot support is also working.
