The case and graphics and hdd came today. I opened the box and shot a few pix. The UPS guy put the box on the stoop upside down ! Can't imagine how he carried it with the handles way down on the sides, I know we joke about these guys being apes, well, the line throwers, maybe ... but now there's evidence that these guys really do have LONG ARMS
That's Gun Metal - the other choice would have been Matte Black, which doesn't look like matte at all. These 2 are the SE versions, the original Switch 810 by NZXT were piano black and piano white, also weighing in about 10 lbs less.
Big box, big case, but not so much in person. The SE versions add 10 lbs of weight, but its sure not in that top piece or the front panel lower piece. They both pop off with nothing but a finger press. And this case did not come with the top rom drive floor plate that is perforated as shown in OC3D at the 15:30 mark - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzOmedDm7Uk
But there is 4" or 90mm between the inside surface of the top panel to the top rom drive plate. And there's almost an inch - 20-23mm of space above the top to the cover, so there's room for a 60mm rad plus 25 mm fans inside the case, and the 25 mm fans up top ... I'll obviously check that again ...yep ! there's 25mm of space - I was able to snap the top into place with a 120mm x 25mm thick fan in the top.
Ok - on the top rom bay, there are support flanges that jut into the rom space and may block the placement of the rad.
The space between these side flanges is 140mm, or 5.5" - these flanges are 41mm high from the rom base, and jut out over the rom space by 6mm. And the back end of these flanges are 39mm from the back edge of the rom base, and from above, the 120mm fan mount holes appear to be a few mm away from the back end of these flanges. Very close.
Here you can see this guy's build - that's an RX360 rad, and he does put the top rom bay side piece back on. So it fits

Ok, the pc is done, sent to Lake Chuck last week, and is buzzing very happily for the rusted root known as PP.
Here's a few pix, also in Gallery under my album, in Papa Payne's Build album.
I didn't do the UV Lightbars - too purple-ish without real UV lite. Bot some pre-sleeved 12" ccfls with stackable inverter boxes - way cool - then added 2 4" ccfls up top in the rom bay and at the back near the fan.
But first, the cable mgmt is here to show you how it can be done and still close that panel :p
The Switch is a good-looking case strait on
With the reservoir LED lit up - blue
Oh ! what's that ? left side showing its all lit up, too ?!
Ahh ! there it is, the mobo side with all the glory
Let me flip the switch and .... VoiLA !
A bit closer on the lit-up-ness >>>>
There it is, the brains of the case and its LIT UP TOOO !!!!

xs-pc raystorm waterblock - has 2 plugs for the 2 led lites it comes with.
All w/c gear nowadays comes with G 1/4" or G 3/8" threading, which can accomodate 1/2", 7/16" ID tubing, on down the line.
This one uses 7/16 x 5/8 - which is said to be more robust and kinkproof more than the 1/2 tubing. This tubing is part of the extreme xspc rx360 kit - xspc high flex uv blue tubing. |

UN, why do you want it in 1/2" size? Do you have a supply of that size? I don't think you would want to use hose that has been sitting around too long or has been used. I wouldn't think you would want to find out that it was dry rotted.
Like Stufz said the fittings for the blocks, pump and rads are G 1/4" or G 3/8" which is a straight pipe thread with an "O" ring at the base of the threads to seal it. They come in sizes to fit the ID of the hose you choose and what type of hose connection you want. ( compression or barbed) Hose size that I have seen are 1/4" x 3/8", 3/8" x 1/2", 3/8" x 5/8", 7/16" x 5/8" , 1/2" x 5/8" and 1/2" x 3/4". The thicker the wall the more kinkproof it is in the bends. The cost of the tubing varies around 2 to 3 dollars a foot.
I also went to skool when Stufz was building this thing.
Oh and one more thing BUDDY

So I ordered an EVGA Hydro Copper waterblock for my GTX 680. came in today and I installed it. Ran it an hour and a half to make sure there were no leaks. Last night on bf3 I turned the video option up to ultra and the temps ran between 67 and 70 c. I tried after installing the waterblock and the highest temp I got was 38c. Now that's a change that I can see. I also ran the Heaven DX 11 benchmark and the temps got to 41c, but I didn't try that last night so I have nothing to compare to.
Here are a few pics.
