Server starts out with TDM
Server switches to CQ Small with more than 16 players
Server switches to CQ Large with more than 28 players
Server switches back to CQ Small with less than 24 players
Server switches back to TDM with less than 12 players
48 is the new slot limit
ticket increase - 100% upto 11 players - 133% upto 23 players - 166% upto 35 players - 200% to 48.
0 to 16 - 9 tdm maps - karkand - bazaar - oman - kharg - metro - firestorm - sharqi - seine - noshahr
17 to 28 - 9 CQS maps - bazaar - firestorm - seine - tehran - noshahr - caspian - sharqi - oman - karkand
29 to 48 - 9 CQL maps - firestorm - seine - caspian - bazaar - kharg - tehran - noshahr - oman - wake
The Small Conquest maps typically lose the LAV and Vlodnik, and 1 or two flags. Most of these maps use the same area as the CQL maps.
Ok - had a problem - the max players for CQS is 32 players, so I've reset the trigger to 29 players to move to CQL.
And CQS top end is now 28 players.
Made another set of changes to reflect the above - let's see if it works Saturday.
Alright ! shit is back to TDM then at the 17th player, switches to CQL.

Server has been set to run TDM only with upto 48 slots for now.
Come May 25, it will reduce to 32 slots for less than half the price....
Will be banning sniper guns .. not recon class - starting tomorrow as a test. |

You should have been on with us last nite, I set all the settings to adjust ticket count and player slot for a 48 slot TDM server, and I got killed by every 1 of the 9 sniper rifles. Bunch of us feel like they ruin play, for the machine gunners/shotgunners/rpg-hos. You cannot fight a prone or standing player with a deadly accurate sniper rifle.
I could try another plugin that allows a kick of those players who use the recon kit more than a certain percentage of the time, the percentage being a variable.
The server title and messaging are informative of the NO SNIPER RIFLES enough to openly advertise it and not run afoul of EA's fair play hogwarsh.

I've added some CloseQuarters CQ Dom and TDM maps - 8 - to this 32 slot server.
From start to the 12th players, server is CloseQuarters maps.
From 13 to the 20th players, server is regular TDM maps.
From 21 to the 32nd player, server is Conquest Large.
Let's see what happens. |

I've mixed the CloseQuarters maps and modes with the regular TDM maps.
kark - 925 - kharg - gm scrap - seine - cd ziba - oman - donya - firestorm - gm 925 - sharqi - cd scrap - wake - ziba - noshahr - gm donya - caspian - cd 925 - teheran - scrap - damavand - gm ziba - bazaar - cd donya
cql 10 - firestorm - bazaar - hoshahr - seine - kharg - kark - caspian - wake - oman - metro
changes to CQ large at the 21st player, switches back to the tdm/close quarters maps/modes when server drops to 11 players.
The non-premium players are gonna be kicked on the upto 21st player rotation. |

Ok - I realized that I've kept the CloseQuarters maps in their modes, set to the default 16 slots.
What I did the other day was to mix those maps n modes with the older maps' TDM - which has a limit of 24, but I set to allow upto 32 players. It occurred to me that with this new rotation of TDM and the CQ maps/modes, that the server may kick players in going from 20 players to get under the limit of 16 players. I had the server set to switch to Conquest Large maps when the 21st player joined.
I've reset the player count to switch to CQL at the 17th player joined, which means that all of the TDM maps and CQ maps/modes are now set to a max of 16 players. |

A month later, already ! Time to change it up.

I've added the 4 CloseQuarters maps for 1 to 8 players - 1 CD, 2 TDM and 1 GM type
from 9 to 16 players, 7 old maps are in TDM
Over 16 players, the CQL rotation comes into play.
The dropback numbers are 11 - reverts to TDM - and 7 - reverts to CQ. |

Just to see how big these maps are, I thot I'd upgrade the slot count to 64 and see what kind of crowds it can attract.
Currently running the 4 new maps in Conquest Large and the new mode, Tank Superiority. |

Got rid of the Tank Superiority mode maps - have a mix of old CQL and new CQL maps.
tried a little bit of the new maps in CQL and CQS mode - no good
09.19.12 - back to new maps and some old maps alternating in CQL only. |

ok - I've made 2 rotations - first is for upto 15 players - SQDM, TDM CQ, CQ DOM, SCAVENGER
Get a 16th player to join, and the rotation goes to this next one.
The 2nd rotation is for 12 to 32 players - TDM and CQ Small or Large - when player count drops below 12, server will start up on smaller rotation.
I've limited player count to 16 for SQDM, TDM CQ, CQ DOM, SCAVENGER. |
